深圳新闻网2025年7月31日讯（记者 阎思远 韩翔 张玲 翁任莹）14岁时的深圳行，埋下了他此后长达20多年深圳创业的种子；18岁时，荷兰小伙子Alain Dijkstra决定在深圳定下来，从0起步，做一位创业者。

Alain Dijkstra's first trip to Shenzhen at the age of 14 planted the seed for what would become a two-decade-long entrepreneurial journey in the city. At 18, the young Dutchman made the bold decision to settle in Shenzhen and build his business from the ground up.

20年后的今天，他在深圳拥有多个园区厂房，形成涵盖医疗器械研发、生产与销售以及餐饮的商业版图。他开创的开颜医疗器械有限公司生产的光疗美容仪器更是在海外市场打出了一片天地。Alain Dijkstra说，如果时间倒流，他仍然会选择在深圳创业，与深圳共成长。

Twenty years on, Alain now owns multiple industrial parks and factory buildings in the city, managing a diverse business portfolio that spans medical device R&D, manufacturing, and sales, as well as ventures in the catering industry. Among them, the light therapy beauty devices produced by Shenzhen Kaiyan Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. have built a solid presence in overseas markets.

Reflecting on his journey, Alain says that if he could turn back time, he would still choose Shenzhen as the place to start and grow his business.

在深圳创业、生活20年，Alain Dijkstra已经可以用流利的汉语与员工交流。他给外国投资者的建议是：押注赢家（bet on the winning horse)。“如果你看到一个国家或者城市发展迅猛，那么它的投资也会成倍增加。”Alain Dijkstra说，要投资电子科技产业或者医疗健康产业的，真心建议在深圳寻找机会。

After two decades of living and working in the city, he is now fluent in Chinese and able to communicate effortlessly with his employees. His advice to foreign investors is to “bet on the winning horse.” “When you see a country or city developing rapidly, investments there will multiply accordingly,” Alain notes. He strongly recommends that those looking to enter the electronics or healthcare industries explore opportunities in Shenzhen.
